Jezebel Corpuz graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University in New York in 1998. Throughout her career, she has worked across a range of clinical settings, including geriatrics, emergency medicine, urology, and integrative medicine.

As both a nurse and a survivor of Small Cell Neuroendocrine Cervical Cancer (SCCC), Jezebel’s experiences have shaped a deep commitment to the cancer community. She returned to work in the radiation oncology department where she received her own treatment and later worked as an RN in an imaging center, helping patients navigate “scanxiety.”

She has also volunteered with City of Hope, contributing to the development of the Day by Day program, which helps women with gynecologic and advanced breast cancers develop coping skills and find support throughout treatment.

Jezebel is currently pursuing a Certificate in Narrative Medicine through Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, bringing together her clinical experience, lived experience, and passion for storytelling.

Jezebel is joining Lifted Through Hope because she believes women facing these rare cancers deserve knowledgeable guidance and the reassurance of knowing others truly understand what they are experiencing. Through the foundation, she hopes to help create a future in which every woman feels seen, heard, and supported throughout her diagnosis and treatment.

Her mission is simple: to turn experience into advocacy, stories into connection, and hope into action.
