We use the information you provide to create and support your account, connect sisters with mentors and one another, answer your questions, send program updates and newsletters you asked for, process and acknowledge donations, plan and run events, and improve the website and our programs.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Health and Story Information
Some members choose to share diagnosis details, treatment experiences, or personal stories with us or with the community. Sharing this is always optional. We use it only for the purpose you shared it for — matching you with support, or publishing a story you approved. We do not publish your story, photo, name, or health details publicly without your permission, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.
When We Share Information
We share personal information only in limited circumstances:
Service providers. Trusted companies that operate parts of our website and programs on our behalf — for example payment processing for donations, email delivery, event registration, and hosting. They may only use the information to provide that service to us.
Foundation team members. Staff, board members, and volunteers who need the information to run a program or respond to you.
When required. If we are legally required to share information, or if sharing is necessary to protect someone's safety.
Donations and Payment Information
Donations are processed by third-party payment providers. Your full card or bank details are entered directly with the payment provider and are never stored by the Foundation. We keep a record of your gift — such as the amount, date, and your contact details — for receipting, reporting, and stewardship.
If you choose to give anonymously, we will not list your name publicly. We may still retain your details internally as required for financial records.
